By accessing or using the CTO platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
CTO is a community-driven crowdfunding platform built on the Solana blockchain. Users can submit token campaigns, contribute SOL to fund them, vote for community leaders, and participate in a fee-split model. The Platform facilitates coordination between community members and does not provide financial, investment, or legal advice.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
The Platform interacts with Solana-compatible wallets (e.g., Phantom). You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, and seed phrases. All SOL transactions on the Platform are final and irreversible. The Platform cannot reverse, cancel, or modify any on-chain transaction once confirmed.
Each campaign generates a unique wallet address. Contributions are recorded on-chain and verified by the Platform. The Platform is not a custodian and does not hold funds on your behalf beyond the campaign mechanism described herein.
Campaigns have a fixed funding goal denominated in USD (currently $305), converted to SOL at the current market price. Once a campaign reaches its goal, it is marked as "funded." The elected leader receives administrative rights to the associated X (Twitter) Community. A 2% referral fee applies to all contributions. The Platform takes a 10% fee from Pump.Fun fees for operational costs.
Voting power is proportional to your SOL contribution to a specific campaign. The elected leader is determined by weighted votes from contributors. The Platform does not guarantee that elected leaders will fulfill any specific obligations. The community may continue voting to change leadership at any time.
All contributions are final. There are no refunds, chargebacks, or withdrawal mechanisms. By contributing SOL, you acknowledge that you may lose the entire amount contributed. Do not contribute more than you can afford to lose.
You acknowledge and accept the following risks:
Market Risk: The value of SOL and any associated tokens can fluctuate dramatically. The Platform is not responsible for any financial losses resulting from market movements.
Smart Contract / Technical Risk: While we strive for security, the Platform may contain bugs or vulnerabilities. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.
Regulatory Risk: Cryptocurrency regulations vary by jurisdiction and may change. You are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Leader Risk: Elected leaders may fail to deliver on expectations. The Platform does not guarantee leader performance.
Scam Risk: Despite our moderation efforts, some campaigns may be associated with fraudulent tokens. Always do your own research (DYOR).
You agree not to: submit fraudulent or scam campaigns; manipulate votes through sybil attacks or wash trading; attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the Platform; use the Platform for money laundering or any illegal activity; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; submit content that is obscene, hateful, or violates intellectual property rights; use bots or automated tools to spam the Platform.
Violation of these rules may result in campaign removal, wallet banning, and reporting to relevant authorities.
Users may submit campaign names, images, and other content. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant the Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it. We reserve the right to remove any content or campaign at our sole discretion. The Platform provides a reporting mechanism for users to flag suspicious campaigns.
The CTO brand, logo, design, and code are the property of the Platform operators. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Platform's proprietary materials without written permission. Token names, logos, and associated content belong to their respective owners.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any losses arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, or anticipated profits.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform operators, developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or funds, arising from your use of the Platform.
The Platform collects wallet addresses, transaction data, and usage analytics. We do not collect personal identifying information beyond what is voluntarily submitted (e.g., Twitter handles). Blockchain transactions are public by nature. We do not sell user data to third parties.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform for any user who violates these Terms or engages in prohibited conduct, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
